Day 5 in the spanish school system!!!

Math Whiz:

Well, today math was my subject to show off! In a good way. I could not help knowing more than the whole class! Okay, well, it all stared when the math teacher came in. After checking our homework, the math teacher called up some people up to do some math problems. Now let me explain something. In Spain education is not too important, so they are still learning their times tables! Ok, they have learned up to sixes!!!! CRAZY!!! OK well the teacher was not correcting the problems the kids did and I thought we were supposed to!! So I rose my hand and told him there was a mistake. The whole class turned their brown eyes on me and pone set of blue eyes! A minute later I raised my hand again and pointed out ANOTHER mistake!!! Then for a few minutes everyone stared at me, except the teacher, and looked at me as if I actually knew something!! Then the teacher asked if that was it. I did not know if I should correct another and take the chance of people calling me a geek! But I found myself shaking my head no! he asked me what else and I told him. Then, the teacher started checking the problems. I think it was because he wanted the class to know that I did not know more than he did! After another two problems I was called up with the boy I sit next to. The math teacher wrote down the boy's problem and put a nine in it. The whole class gasped! The math teacher told him that it was a nine because you need to practice. I almost laughed out loud! When he gave me mine he asked if I knew all of my times tables! I said ya and almost added "in third grade"!! But I did not want to offend anyone. So he added a nine to my multipacation problem. Then while we were doing our problems he started talking to the class. In a minute or two I was done. I looked over at the boy who sits next to me and he was not even half way done! Then the class started yelling at the teacher, "She is done, She is done". I just smiled as the teacher looked at me as if i was an alien and I just landed my spaceship in his class room! He corrected mine and I got nothing wrong but not putting a dash through the 7 and not lining up my numbers correctly. Then they started doing devision and they did backyards and upside down! So I had to ruin my fame by asking what it was. Then tomorrow he said that I may show the class my way, or thats what I thought he said. For home we are to study division 'cause tomorrow we are learning double digit division!!!! So hard! I am in three digit division! Afterwards, everyone was saying that I was very smart! SO my fame was not waisted! See what happens tomorrow!
