Last night I was discouraged because I had a lot of homework to do and I didn't know how I would keep on homeschooling with Meredith, the tutor, and keep up with the work at Felix Plaza. Now I know just to leave that up to my parents.... But, at the time, I was just down in the dumps and I took out my Bible and did some praying. I found this verse that basically gave me the message that God was going to be with me the next day and to not worry. So the next day, I was determined to look for God and to see how He would pop into my day. Then, during matematicas (math), I was getting kinda bored. So I started looking around. Then, out the window, I saw a creme colored pigeon and that is one of the signs of the Holy Spirit, a dove. A pigeon... close enough! It was sitting on the wire outside the window starring into the classroom at me! Once I looked at it it flew away. To me, that meant that God really was going to take care of any of the problems that I would have this year, learning Spanish, keeping up with my friends, what grade I was going to be in, and everything else I had to face. This encouraged me a lot.

Wow Karis that IS really encoureging! This year i have really found that my faith in god is groing, i really enjoy hearing about the ways that god has touched your life. I would love to tell you some storys about my walk with GOD so we can arang a Skype call somtime soon. Love,

Hi Karis! Wow! You got glasses! You look great. We sure miss you. I will love to come see your posts. No worries on how often! Just do the best you can. I took Spanish in high school and college, and I bet you are already doing better than I ever did! What a lovely spirit you are!
